When the Mission work-trippers went to Virginia last year they were asked, by a local resident, \u201cWhat are you here for?\u201d It was like she thought we may be at the wrong place; after all, she\u00a0was there; she was seeking to be the hands and feet of Christ in that place. So, what were we there for?!?!
\nBut the thought stayed with us throughout the trip and all the way home, until arriving in Tipton and we asked, \u201cWhat are we HERE\u00a0for?!?!\u201d Our answer to that question caused us to look around our own community, to assess where we might be for someone messengers and servants of Christ. Our answer to that question had us ask someone, Rhonda Waugh, if we could shingle her house. It needs it; she\u2019s sought every other option to get it done but is not able to afford a commercial shingle. She consented to let the work group shingle her house.
\nWe think that\u2019s [one of the things] we\u2019re here for!!! We\u2019ll be doing much other work in the community, too.<\/p>\n
